Established since 1991 it has the best in house PA system for a club of its size anywhere in the Eastern side of the UK. A decent sized stage so that bands can show off their full potential!! The venue can allow 14+ fans in for shows but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the show. This is a non-negotiable rule and we expect bands to understand the reasons why. Doors will open from 7.45pm for heats and we’ll do our best to have the show completed and results read out by 11pm so that for bands travelling then it’s not a late drive home. If you have merch/CD’s for your band then fell free to come and sell them – use the Metal to the Masses Experience to get the word out about your band! Previous metal bands that have played on the Met Lounge stage include Bury Tomorrow, Blood Red Throne, Parkway Drive, Feed The Rhino, Breed 77, One Minute Silence , Enter Shikari, Hacktivist, American Head Charge, Funeral For a Friend.
