Add a sixth notch to Ultra Music Festival's continental bedpost. The Miami-born, international music festival brand will make landfall in Australia for the first time in 2018, kicking off its Down Under adventure with a Road to Ultra one-day extravaganza Saturday, Feb. 24, in Melbourne's Sydney Myer Music Bowl.
The central, waterside location has played host to shows from Daft Punk to Paul McCartney. Ultra's organizers will create a stunning stage under the Bowl's canopy to mirror the lights of Melbourne's skyline across the view, and Ultra has already make preparations to fill that stage with diverse local and international talent, calling on some of UMF's all-time favorite and some new guns.
Afrojack headlines alongside Axwell & Ingrosso. The Dutch and Swedish powerhouses will be joined by Carnage, KSHMR and Andrew Rayel. Rounding out the one-stage event are Moe, Tigerlily b2b Mashd N Kutcher, Timmy Trumpet and Will Sparks.
